Our Adopt-a-Staffer program is a great opportunity for you to support our staff in their service during the summer months. Every year, we have around 35 college students join us to minister to campers. These individuals work long days which can be quite exhausting. They are away from their friends and family for weeks, if not months. Because of this, there is a great physical, emotional, and spiritual drain on them. Our goal with the Adopt-a-Staffer program is for you to come alongside these staffers and support them through prayer and encouragement. We ask our adopters to commit to consistently lifting up their assigned staff member in prayer. In addition, we love for our adopters to send notes of encouragement and/or care packages to their staffer. If you feel led to participate in this opportunity, you will be given the name of one (or more if you want) staff member, their info sheet, and a picture of them so that you can know more about them. This is a great ministry project for families, as kids love to pray/support a college student in their ministry!

Camp WOW is a non-for-profit ministry and so your financial contributions would be of great assistance in our ministry. If you feel lead to donate, your contributions will help support the cost of putting on camps, pay for the employment of summer staff, and help offset the costs of our Community Camp where local students are able to attend at a discounted rate. Running a camp that has 6,000 students come through every summer takes a lot of supplies. If you want to support our work by donating some of these items, it would be a great help to us. Below is a list of several supplies that we are in need of. Donations can be sent to Camp WOW, Attn: Micah, 8256 Diagonal 1500 Rd., Stuart, OK 74570.
- Office supplies: paper, pens, computer supplies, office equipment, Sharpies, folders, envelopes, printer ribbons, etc.
- Furniture: chairs, tables, desks, floor mats (indoor/outdoor), trash cans, rocking chairs, picnic tables/gliders
- Medical: allergy medications, bandages, ace wraps, Tylenol/ibuprofen,triple antibiotic cream, burn cream, peroxide, cough medicine, tissues/Kleenex, Pepto for stomach, etc.
- Toiletries: napkins, paper towels, toilet paper, roll towels, hand soap, papergoods, hand sanitizers, trash bags (all sizes)
- Janitorial: cleaning supplies – dustmops, brooms, dustpans, mop buckets, mops, bathroom cleaning supplies, floor cleaning supplies, glass cleaner, etc.
- Misc.: batteries, (all sizes – mostly “AA” and “AAA” and 9-volt, C and D), duct tape, scotch tape, etc.
- Tech. supplies: any sound equipment – video tech. supplies, microphones, Mic. Stands, blank cd’s/dvd’s, etc.
- Maintenance: lawnmowers, weedeaters, tools, weed-killer, insect-repellant, etc., garden hoses, etc.
- Kitchen: dish rags, dish towels, laundry soap, bleach, dish detergent, first-aide kits, cleaning supplies, scrub pads/SOS, dish scrub brushes, etc.
- Equipment: golf carts, Gators/Mules, trailers, parts for equipment
- Lodge: sheets/comforters/pillows (all sizes), towels, washcloths,etc.
- Food Supply: vending machine items, snacks for camp store, ketchup, salt/pepper, chips, crackers, candy, canned soda pop, bottled water
